Privacy policy for AdFree Files
This page describes which data AdFree Files processes locally, which permissions are used and which external services may be involved for Google Play purchases.

Principle
AdFree Files is a local Android file manager. It is designed to browse, display, filter, organize and manage files on your device through Android system functions.
The app uses no ads, no forced account and no behaviour tracking by NoShit Development.
Locally processed data
AdFree Files can locally access files and folders, file names, file types, file sizes, modification dates, media information and settings, favourites, tags and filters you set.
This information is used for file views, search, sorting, filters, tags, presets, file actions, storage overview and duplicate review.
Files, file lists and personal file contents are not transferred to a NoShit Development server.
Permissions
Depending on Android version and selected mode, AdFree Files may use all-files access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE), media permissions for images, videos and audio, and the Storage Access Framework for selected folders.
The permissions serve the core file-manager function. You can change or revoke Android permissions at any time in system settings.
Google Play Billing and dependent libraries may include INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE. These permissions are not used for ads, tracking or an own NoShit Development server service.
Purchases and voluntary support
If AdFree Files is purchased through Google Play or voluntary support purchases are offered, processing is handled by Google Play.
Payment details are not processed by AdFree Files. Voluntary support does not unlock additional features.
Sharing and external apps
When you actively share files, open them with another app or edit them in an external editor app, this happens through Android system functions and by your explicit action.
Processing by the selected third-party app is governed by that app’s own privacy terms.
Storage and control
Local settings, tags, favourites and filters remain on your device until you change or delete them, clear app data or remove the app.
NoShit Development cannot view or delete local files and local app data server-side unless you actively transmit them.
Children
AdFree Files is not specifically directed at children.
